Welcome to the website of Jefferson Community Church in Jefferson, CO. As our logo indicates, we are a church that upholds "Traditional Values" and "Timeless Truth". The purpose of our existence is summed up in Colossians 1:28: "We proclaim Him (Christ), admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ". We invite all in the Jefferson/Como area, as well as those passing through, to come worship with us. Our desire is to reach out to people, in love, with the life changing message of God's Word.
Service Times
Beginning on Sunday, June 5, 2011 we will have new hours as follows for our Sunday School & Worship Service for the summer months, June through September. Beginning the second week in June, Bible Study will be suspended until the middle of September.

We meet in the Jefferson Schoolhouse and the Civic Center which is one block east of US285 in Jefferson.
About Us
We are an Independent, Evangelical, Missionary-minded Community Church and have been a part of the Jefferson area since 1949. We hold to the historic doctrines of the Bible, enjoy a traditional service by singing content rich songs and emphasizing Biblically based preaching. Communion is observed on the first Sunday of every month and is open to all believers in Jesus Christ. On the fifth Sunday of those months with five Sundays, the service is open to all for singing, testimonies, Bible verse recitation, short devotionals, etc. We support seven missionaries serving in both foreign and home fields.

Thanks to all who brought food for the Fairplay Food Bank. The box overflowed as your giving abounded. Those in need will certainly appreciate your generosity. The next collection day is Sunday, June 26. Priority needs are canned meats, soups with meat, canned fruit, stew, chili or cash/checks for fresh meat & produce.
Do you like Bluegrass music? If you do, you are invitated to a concert by The Brush Arbor Revival bluegrass quartet from Arizona. The free concert will be held on Wednesday evening, June 29, 7:00pm at the Jefferson Community Center, 98 Main St., Jefferson. There will be light refreshments & coffee following the concert. Come, tap your foot to some good gospel bluegrass & praise the Lord with us.
