Welcome to the website of Jefferson Community Church in Jefferson, CO. As our logo indicates, we are a church that upholds "Traditional Values" and "Timeless Truth". The purpose of our existence is summed up in Colossians 1:28: "We proclaim Him (Christ), admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ". We invite all in the Jefferson/Como area, as well as those passing through, to come worship with us. Our desire is to reach out to people, in love, with the life changing message of God's Word.
Service Times
Sunday School 9:45AM Sunday Worship 11:00AM Wednesday Bible Study 7:00PM. The mid-week Bible Study has concluded for the Summer & will resume in the Fall.
Location
We meet in the Jefferson Schoolhouse and the Civic Center which is one block east of US285 in Jefferson.
About Us
We are an Independent, Evangelical, Missionary-minded Community Church and have been a part of the Jefferson area since 1949. We hold to the historic doctrines of the Bible, enjoy a traditional service by singing content rich songs and emphasizing Biblically based preaching. Communion is observed on the first Sunday of every month and is open to all believers in Jesus Christ. On the fifth Sunday of those months with five Sundays, the service is open to all for singing, testimonies, Bible verse recitation, short devotionals, etc. We support nine missionaries serving in both foreign and home fields.

Thanks to all who brought food for the Fairplay Food Bank. The box overflowed as your giving abounded. Those in need will certainly appreciate your generosity. The next collection day is Sunday, Aug 29. Priority needs are canned meats, chili, stew, green beans, spaghetti sauce & cash/checks for fresh meat & produce.
Our Fall retreat has been set for Saturday, Sept 11 at the Thompson's home in Indian Mountain. The men will cook breakfast for all, followed by a short time of spiritual refreshment. The ladies will bring their favorite Mexican dish for lunch, after which we will play games, walk, talk, sing, fellowship. Make sure you put this event on your calendar now.
